Facilities

The recently restored Point Pleasant Community Baptist Church was built in 1852, it’s a stone structure built on bedrock and in excellent condition. Adjacent to the Church are two other buildings owned by the Church: the old school house now used as a Church office and meeting room, and a small ranch style rental property.

Across River Road and adjacent to the old Delaware Canal is the Church Parsonage.

In addition to Church services and functions, the facilities are used for various community activities.

Point Pleasant Cemetery

Located about 1/2 mile up Cafferty Road from the Church the Point Pleasant Cemetery was entrusted to the Trustees of the church by the Stover family.
